GREEN & YELLOW HOUSE
DESCRIPTION
This Victorian era home is unique in its corner siting and the manner in which it addresses both street frontages with equal presence.
The owners requested that the principal rooms and original silhouette of the home be retained unencumbered by the new additions.
As a result 2 ‘pavillions’ are located to the east and north creating an L shaped formation on the site and enclosing an inner courtyard.
The owner was very keen to plant native grevillea in the front garden to attract native birds & bees and so evolved the ‘yellow and green’ colour scheme both
internally and externally in very subtle ways.
