Volume 2 architecture is a sole practice run by architect Biserka Resovac and is primarily focused on residential projects within Melbourne.
Having studied at Melbourne University Biserka has over 25 years’ experience within architectural practice, working in both residential and commercial architecture in Melbourne and London in her early career. Having spent time working in a wide range of architectural fields, Biserka has chosen to focus her experience and specialise in the creation of residential architecture and individual homes. This scale of architecture allows for her to be intimately involved in each project within the practice from concept to construction stages.
Volume 2 architecture is focused on creating spaces and environments for people that are both practical and pleasurable to inhabit, based on the belief that positive and well-crafted spaces enhance the lives of those who occupy them. Each home should be unique and a direct response to the needs of the occupants and its direct environment.
Through this approach Biserka can provide great care and attention to every project. This involves listening and responding appropriately to clients’ needs and hopes for their home. Beyond the individual the practice endeavours to be sensitive to the broader environment focusing on sustainable materials and design to minimise impact on the natural surroundings.
Volume 2 seeks to create a positive and personal journey throughout the design and construction process for each individual home owner and return to the craft of architecture.
